September Social Dance
Please join us for our next Social Dance on Saturday September 24 at DanceSportVA Studio. The lesson is American Waltz at 7:30 by an instructor with Alan Hedgpeth. The DJ for this dance will be Alan Hedgpeth. Everyone is welcome. No partner required. We NOW have dedicated Dance Hosts at all our social dances. Enjoy the Summer while it is hot.
Cash and check only. $10 USA Dance members; $15 non-members; $5 full time students with ID.

Studios and groups can reserve and pay for a whole table by following these instructions.
The table layout (Version 3) is the same every night of the event. Seating is reserved by table for the Dinner Dance and the New Year's Eve Gala. Check here for updates as tables are reserved. A table with an "X" means that it is reserved by a group or a Studio. Contact the reservation telephone number or your studio for group seating, or select another table for your reservation.
If interested, ladies and men may request seating at the Singles Tables. Ladies will enjoy dances with the dance hosts.

USA DANCE, INC-Tidewater shall function as the local chapter of the USA Dance, Inc. a non-profit corporation organized to promote social and competitive ballroom dancing to people of all ages. We shall:
Abide by the Bylaws, Rules and Policies adopted by USA DANCE, INC-National and to insure Chapter activities are in full compliance with all National and Chapter by-laws.
Serve the needs of the residents of the Tidewater (Hampton Roads / Coastal Virginia) area, including Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Suffolk, and Chesapeake. Promote and support amateur ballroom dancing in the Tidewater area. Hold local ballroom dances. Present exhibitions by local, regional and national amateur and professional dancers.
Encourage dancers at all levels to increase their skills; Encourage local students to participate in ballroom dance; Inform the public about ballroom dance instruction and places to dance; Establish cooperative relationships with local dance studios and instructors; Encourage Chapter members to participate.
